The T-Rex Series is not going extinct ... but we seem to have one foot in a tar pit. The crew here at RF Events is sick about the course of so many events. Cancellations are sounding like a broken record. Our course of action has been to try to hold out until the powers that be give us a no go. We love this series and getting together with you all for a bit of mid-week, mid-summer swim, bike, run fun. We are praying and hopeful for July and August to still go on but alas, June is not to be.
If the July and August races take place, you can be assured that we have a detailed plan from registration to the finish line party they will be safe, socially distanced and worthwhile.
The options for you on the Triceratops cancellation are: 1. To get a $50 credit for a future event. This will come as a code to be used to enter any RF Event until the end of 2022. Or, 2. To donate your entry money to RF Events to help us keep the lights on as we work to shuffle ahead and survive, so we can be here for the future and create quality events that let you meet your goals and put your hard training to use. USAT annual membership money as well as additional shirt purchase money will be REFUNDED.

Why can't you postpone? - To date, we have canceled or postponed 10 events. We are digging ourselves into a hole that will take us an extended amount of time to dig out of. At this point we have hit the wall and our options are limited.
Why can't you offer a full refund? - We know what a delicate subject money is at this time, and we are attempting to be as transparent as possible in regards to why we are unable to offer a refund. A large majority of the planning and man hours go into the event well before race day; we spend a large portion of the projected income in setting up the event prior to registration opening, When our world was turned upside down from COVID-19, entry money came to a standstill. We are unable to provide a full refund because the money is simply not there.
What if I was registered for the series, will I still be a series finisher if I do the other 3 tris? - Yup!
